The Jesse E. Barnett Jr. Enrichment Center would like to solicit your donation in helping us to develop our Student-Athlete Center. Our goal is to provide a safe and positive atmosphere for young men and women to not only learn the game of basketball but, holistically, to learn the game of life. We are committed to increasing academic success, athletic ability, character, and community involvement of all athletes who participate in our programs and teams.
The Student-Athlete Enrichment Center will provide:
- Academic Support
- Accountability and Expectations based on individualized success
- Personal and Professional Development
- ACT/SAT Work Shops
- Book Fairs
- College Fairs
- College access programming
- Reading program
- Mentoring/Networking
- Proper Etiquette
- Social Justice Awareness
In an effort to provide services to our student-athletes, we have set a fundraising goal of $150,000, with ALL PROCEEDS going to our Enrichment Center. F.O.C.U.S Training Academy is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization. You will be able to write off your taxable sponsorship/donation. Because we are grateful and appreciative of our community partners, we will publicly recognize your donation (without disclosing the amount) and advertise your company/business and generate support for you as well.
